The area of the State Forestry Regional Management in Piła is divided into 131 hunting districts. Total area of hunting usage is over 767 thousand hectares. Hunting Circles lease 121 districts and 8 districts are excluded from lease, 2 districts are animal breeding centers of the Polish Hunting Association.
The animal breeding centers of the State Forestry cover the area close to 76 thousand hectares while constituting 65% of wood area.
Forestry Offices in which the animal breeding centers are located:
Okonek, Wałcz, Złotów, Podanin, Sarbia, Krucz
The most important goals of hunting economy in the animal breeding centers are:
• running the model hunting ground economy,
• implementation of new scientific and practical achievements within the hunting range,
• restoring the disappearing species of animals (mouflon in the animal breeding center in Wałcz),
• breeding of local hunted animal species,
• training within the hunting area.

In the State Forestry animal breeding centers there are hunting events, organized for foreign as well as for local hunters. The sales of hunting events for foreigners is managed by the State Forestry Regional Management, via cooperation with hunting offices and individual hunters both locally and abroad.
Basing on inventory made in March 2007 it was established that on the territory the Forestry Management in Piła, there are 39 elks, 7500 deer, 2007 fallow deer, 29500 roa deer, 78030 wild pigs, 12 mouflons. In field and field-forest districts you can meet many species of minor animal species as hares, pheasants and partridges and of course foxes, raccoon dogs and badgers. Besides of the above mentioned hunted species in the area of the Forestry Management in Piła, there are protected by law, species as wolves, wisents in a free living group of about 40, in forest waters there are numerous beavers. The State Forestry Regional Management in Piła is the most westerly habitat of this species in Poland.

The State Forestry Regional Management in Piła has on its territory attractive hunting quarters of various standard, located in charming spots of Piła forests in wilderness so needed by everybody. The number of beds in these quarters vary. The highest standard is that of the Palace of Margonin (Podanin animal breeding center headquarter), which owns 45 beds there is a fireplace and banquet hall as well as a drink bar. The other quarters are excellent forester’s lodges which can house simultaneously several to nineteen people (Wąsosz, Szklarnia), all quarters have single, double and triple rooms mostly with separate bathrooms. Staying in our forester’s lodges means not only a comfortable relax in forest in a company of kind hosts, offering good Polish cuisine but there is also a possibility for active rest during hunting, picking mushrooms, walking and bicycle trips along specially prepared paths.

FOR SERVICES OF HUNTING TOURISM
IN THE ANIMAL BREEDING CENTRES (OHZ)
OF THE STATE FOREST REGIONAL MANAGEMENT IN PIŁA
FOR HUNTING OFFICES AND INDIVIDUAL HUNTERS

IN UNLIMITED BID SYSTEM

I.GENERAL RULES

1. Whenever in the following text it is said about:
- RDLP – (Seller) it is understood the State Forest Regional Management in Piła, ul.Kalina 10, 64-920 Piła, tel:+48 67 212 48 44, fax: +48 67 212 64 78,

- OHZ – is understood as Animal Breeding Center being under management of RDLP Offices in Piła;
- Hunting Office – (Buyer –Bidder) – is understood as foreign or Polish entrepreneur selling hunting services to individual customers in OHZ;
- Individual Hunters – ( Buyer – Bidder) – is understood as a hunter expressing willingness to buy hunting without agency of foreign or Polish hunting office.
- Hunting Law – is understood as the Regulation of 13 Oct 1995 on Hunting Law [Dz.U. No 147, Pos.713 with later changes] and executive acts, Regulation of 21 May 1999 on Guns and Ammunition [Dz.U. No 53, Pos. 549] and internal regulations of RDPL on hunting economy;
- Order – is understood as a written will to reserve and purchase of hunting, sent by electronic mail or fax to:

2. The base of RDPL activity in tourism service sales are:
- record in the Hunting Registry on 05.10.2005 and permission by the Voievod of Wielkopolska  No 175 of 21.06.2000 for running of economic activity in tourist event organizing;
- supervision of OHZ managers [Forest Inspectorates].
3. Sales of tourist services (hunting) refer to the following OHZ:

II. SALES RULES

1. Sales of tourist services (hunting) is run by the RDLP basing on the enclosed Offer, which contains: event-hunting number, number of animals to hunt, number of Hunters, suggested date of event, minimum days of stay, order deadline.

2. Sales of events-huntings  will be done on principle of unlimited bid with bidding increase minimum 5% of the starting price in the Price List.


3. Orders for particular species of animals and group hunting are be placed with the foiiowing impassable dates depending on chosen event-hunting.

4. Entering the bid is done by placing an Order according to enclosed form, sent by e-mail or fax to the address stated in General Rules in Point 1.
The order will be excluded from the bidding proceeding in case of outstanding, overdue liabilities to the Seller.

 

Orders will be only accepted if written on the enclosed order form.

 

5. Placement of orders can be done separately for particular event specified in the offer or in case of orders for more than one Hunter in specific time there is a possibility to link some events in the order, not exceeding the particular number of hunters in given OHZ:

6. After the registration of the order, it will be given an identification number and sent back to the Bidder.

The identification number has the following format:

e.g.: 10/P/R/1/08-09, where:
          10  - agreement number given to the Bidder,
          P - OHZ (Podanin – P, Sarbia – S, Złotów – Z, Wałcz – W),
          R - type of animals (stags – R, male deer – Jb, male fallow deer – Db, wild boars –
             Dz, non-trophy animals - Zn),
          1 - order number for this kind of events,
          08-09 - hunting season
 
7. Orders placed by the Bidder will be visible on the website: Bidding proceeding  with a number assigned to it by RDLP in Piła.


8. The Bidder has the right to place the same order again with the bid increase in relation to other placed in Bidding proceeding.

9. The result of the Bid and choice of the Bidder will follow within maximum 4 days from the end of bidding proceeding according to the following criteria:

- the order with the highest bid increase wins,
- in case of equal orders the run-off will be organized, only between these parties, without stating the bid increase in per cent, but not less than 1%. 

10. The condition of event - hunting sales is to agree not later than 14 days after the result of bid, a separate written Agreement between the Seller and the Bidder.

11. The RDPL is obliged to :

- execute the concluded agreement,

- provide hunters with optimal accommodation and boarding conditions,


- provide the service of a guide and translator and in case of individual hunting with bringing near to animals in relation 1:1,

- provide transportation on the hunting area (on Hunter’s wish),


- ensure the preparation of trophies (boiling, removing of soft tissues and whitening with hydrogen peroxide,

- prepare and send back to the Buyer within 14 days from the end of hunting, invoices with enclosures from the hunting performed,

- inform the Buyer about the cancellation of the event and all changes in OHZ which influence the service of hunters and executed hunting; if because the act of fate the OHZ is not able to perform the event according to agreement, the Buyer has the right to get back the prepayment which was discussed in the agreement or to change the date of the event to suit both parties,


- provide the third-party insurance (OC) within the range of performed hunting directed to OHZ of hunters.

12. The Buyer is obliged to:

- observe the binding hunting laws and hunting ethics of the Republic of Poland – under pain of cancellation of the hunting without the right to compensation for the Hunting Office and individual Hunters,

- pay prepayments as set in the agreement within 14 days from the conclusion of the agreement in amount of:

a. 100% of price list value for accommodation and board and organizing of the hunting according to Price List + bid increase from the bid.

b. Prepayment for the ordered animals for shooting off according to the average value of animals.

non-payment of prepayments within the agreed period automatically cancels the agreement.

- due payment for executed hunting but not later than 14 days from the invoice issue date by the RDPL,

- introduce by the Buyer the clear information to advertising materials and correspondence with customers, that the hunting being sold is the product of the Seller.


13. The basis for financial clearing between the Buyer  and the Seller is the Price List of RDPL increased with percentage negotiated during the bid and included in the agreement.

14. All prices are expressed as gross prices with VAT, and the currency is Euro. In case of domestic Buyers the calculated value in Euro is changed to PLN according to the average NBP rate from the working day that precedes the end of event – hunting.


15. In case of illegal shooting off animals the Buyer is obliged to pay the equivalent in amount set by the Regulation by the Ministry of Environment on illegally shot off animals of 21.06.2005 (Dz.U. No 05 116.981 of 29.06.2005).


16. As illegally shot off animals they are also understood animals got without acceptation of a guiding person or a leader of group hunting, and for it the equivalent of 200% of price for the particular trophy is set.

17. The RDPL will only consider complaints written down in the Hunting Report.

18. RDPL reserves itself the right to cancel the bid before bid procedure starts without stating the reason of cancellation.

19. Complaints and requests about bid proceedings can be submitted to the Director of RDLP (State Forest Regional Management) in Piła, at the address:
